German Air Force patch of Flugzeugführerschule S / Group A.

It conducted advanced flying training from 1956 until 1978.

The unit was split into three groups.

- Group A: single-engine training on Piper L-18 and Do-27

- Group B: multi-engine training on Noratlas and Pembroke

- Group C: helicopter training on Bell 47 and Vertol H-21C

The patch was reflects the Falcon of Group A.
