The annual NATO Tiger Meet 2014 was hosted by the German Air Forces TaktLwG 51 ´Immelmann´, based at Schleswig-Jagel. The base is sitiuated in the very north of Germany, close to the Danish border. The host unit comprises three squadrons:

511 & 512 Squadron operate the Tornado IDS and ECR, while 514 Squadron is the Operational Conversion Unit for the Tornado since training for the type moved from the US to Germany.

Jagel is a nice base to shoot pictures. Finding a position at the east side is rather simple, during easterly winds you should be prepared to cross a huge corn field to end up at a spot close to the runway.
